how to change a 1999 mitsubishi mirage spark plugs

remove each of the four spark cables (easiest if done one at a time). they may also take some work getting off (they should be pretty tight or you may need new spark plug cables). but once you can get em off use a socket wrench (and in your socket set you SHOULD have a designated socket for loosening the spark plugs). once you losen them...(remember one at a time to be safe so you dont mix up the cables).... your replacement ones should have come with lubricator so that you dont strip the ports getting the new ones in and once you have the new one in tighten snuggly. Then you should have a different type lubricator to put inside your spark plug cables to help seal the new ones (this is why your plugs should be a bitch to get out). and you repeat for all four plugs..... its way simpler than it looks or seems if you do it correctly
P.S.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN OR DO TOO LOOSE SO USE GOOD JUDGEMENT
MAKE SURE THE PLUGS ARE IN STRAIGHT AND SCREW IN WITH LITTLE RESISTANCE.
YOU MAY NEED TO CLEAN DIRT FROM AROUND THE PORTS SO NOOO DIRT GETS IN THE HOLES
AND ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE ON THE MIRAGE THE PORTS ARE DIFFICULT TO REACH WITH CERTAIN SOCKET WRENCH SETS SINCE THERES A GUARD ON THE MANIFOLD SO IF U CANT TAKE THAT COVER OFF AN EXTENTION TO THE SOCKET WRENCH MAY BE NEEDED
I hope i didnt leave anything out let me know if you have anymore questions or if you get confused

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
